Riyadi talisman Wael Arakji committed his future to the defending Lebanese Basketball League champions by signing a new three-year deal at the Manara-based club Friday. Arakji, 24, was an integral part of Riyadi's romp to another league title earlier this month, averaging 12.5 points and 4.5 assists in 25 games this season. The Riyadi youth product is playing frighteningly efficient basketball, shooting a shade over 50 percent from the field and 43 percent from deep in the regular season.Arakji has flourished under the tutelage of head coach Ahmad Farran -- who himself agreed fresh terms this week -- and has positioned himself to lead Riyadi for years to come.
