Calm returned to the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh Sunday evening after the killing of a man overnight caused a spike in tensions in the camp. Haitham al-Saadi was killed at the entrance of the Safsaf neighborhood Saturday evening by Mohammad al-Arqoub, who is believed to be affiliated with fundamentalist Islamist groups, sparking concern that the security situation in the camp was returning to the brink. The first, according to the sources, is that after Saadi ran over a metal barricade near the neighborhood, Arqoub decided to kill him.
