Ammar Abd Rabbo is a familiar figure around the country and the region. Both his photojournalism and more artistic image-making (he's shown at least two playful series of nudes) have been published in books and exhibited around town. sometime Beirut resident had been covering the carnivalesque popular protests against the government when, on the 10th day of the demos (Oct. 26), he improvised a mobile photo studio near Martyrs' Square.... Those who sometimes don't dare to ask about the 'price' of the photo, or are not used at all to posing.
